Welcome to the website of Lodge Eastern Scotia, No. 923 on the Roll of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, meeting in Victoria (Central), Hong Kong.

The Lodge is one of five Scottish lodges working in Hong Kong within a district of 11 lodges (The District Grand Lodge of the Far East, covering Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines) and meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except July, August and December) at Zetland Hall on 1 Kennedy Road, Central.

    • Monthly luncheon: Wednesday 14th March

    • Regular meeting: Tuesday 20th March at 6pm for 6:30pm
    • General committee meeting: Monday 26th March at 5:30pm (please note earlier start time)

    The Semi-annual meeting of the District Grand Lodge of the Far East will be held on Thursday 29th March, at 6pm for 6:30pm, all Master Masons of the lodge are strongly encouraged to attend to support the RWM and of course our very own RWDGM. Small chow and drinks will be served after the meeting courtesy of the RWDGM.

    For Chapter companions, the Annual meeting of the District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the Far East will be held on Monday 26th March (same day as the gencom meeting!). Again, all companions are strong encouraged to attend to support the ME G. Supt and Navel & Military RAC’s 1st Principal, both of whom are members of this lodge.

    First of all, wishing you all a happy and healthy 2018!

    January of course is the month of our annual installation. Members of the lodge wishing to dine in after the meeting should inform the WJW-elect as soon as possible. There will be a rehearsal on the morning of Saturday 13th starting at 10:30am.

  • Volunteers needed

    Volunteers are needed for a number of forthcoming charity events:

    Fishing with the children from the Jockey Club Elaine Field School – Sat 25 November, Blessed Villa, Lau Fau Shan(幸福山莊,流浮山)


    The school party will arrive around 9:30am, please get there before that. Lunch is available on a self-paying basis.

    Baked Alaska Party – Sat, 16th December, Zetland Hall

    Lunch will be served between 11:15am-11:45am, during which time there will be a briefing for the volunteers as well as cheque presentation ceremony for the recipients of the HKFEMBFC. The children are expected to arrive around noon.

    The deadline for registration has passed for the HK Cancer Fund sponsored walk mentioned by the RWM, so I will skip the details here.

  • 2016 Prestonian Lecture

    The 2016 Prestonian Lecture will be delivered on Saturday, 25th November during the St Paul’s Lodge (9718EC) regular meeting.

    The Prestonian Lecture is extremely prestigious being the only lecture given under the authority of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE). Deliveries of each year’s lecture are always well attended with audiences being rewarded with an entertaining and informative experience for your own advancement in Masonic knowledge. This is the first time in living memory that the Lecture is delivered in the District by the Prestonian Lecturer in person.

  • November 2017

    Our annual ladies night will also take place this month, on Saturday, 11th November. There are  still a few places left, please contact the WJW if you wish to attend. On the morning of the same day, a ceremony will be held to commemorate our fallen brethren (full details in the members section).

    For RAC Companions, please note that the semi-annual convocation of the DGRACFE will be held on Thursday, 9th November. Please mark your calendar accordingly.
